About Loteprednol Etabonate
Loteprednol etabonate is used for the treatment of inflammation of the eye due to allergies,as well as chronic forms of keratitis, vernal keratoconjunctivitis, pingueculitis, and episcleritis.
[ Uses ]
Loteprednol etabonate is indicated for the treatment of several inflammatory conditions affecting the anterior chamber (front portion) of the eye such as the following:
Allergic conjunctivitis
Acne rosacea
Superficial punctate keratitis
Herpes zoster keratitis
Iritis
Cyclitis
Selected types of infectious conjunctivitis
Loteprednol is also used for the treatment of inflammation that may occur after eye surgery.
