About Imatinib Mesylate
Imatinib mesylate in May at the cellular level in vivo and in vitro inhibitory Bcr – Abl tyrosine kinase, can selectively inhibit Bcr – Abl, Ph chromosome positive positive cell line cells of chronic myelogenous leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia patient fresh cell proliferation and induce its apoptosis. Imatinib mesylate also inhibits platelet derivation growth factor (PDGF) receptor, stem cell factor (SCF), c – Kit receptor tyrosine kinase, thus inhibiting the PDGF and stem cell factor mediating cell behavior.
