Description About D-Psicose CAS 551-68-8:
D-psicose is a fructose isomer with a sweetness of 70% of that of sucrose and has been used as a heat-free, GRAS sucrose substitute in a variety of products. D-psicose converts more fat to energy and consumes more carbohydrates aspartame.
Animal studies have shown that D-psicose can reduce body weight, reduce animal fat, and reduce the consumption of sugar through the enzyme.
D-Psicose has been used in a study to assess the bioconversion of D-fructose to D-allose. It has also been used in a study that investigated the characteristics and antioxidant activity of maillard reaction products.
