About Chymotrypsin
Chymotrypsin is a proteolytic enzyme secreted by the pancreas. It can rapidly decompose denatured proteins. Its function and use are similar to those of trypsin. It has stronger decomposition ability than trypsin, low toxicity and less adverse reactions. It can make the thick sputum thin, easy to cough up, and is effective for both purulent and non-purulent sputum. Also used for wound healing after trauma or surgery. Can be used for cataract extraction.
Applications
Can be used as a protein decomposing enzyme. Commonly used in wound after the operation, or wound healing, anti-inflammatory, and prevent local hemorrhage, edema, sprain hematoma after breast surgery, swelling, rhinitis, otitis media, etc. Used for cataract, release the ciliary muscle, ligament to reduce membrane rupture and retinal damage. But, must do before using the allergy test, static note, injection site can be born between pain and swelling, muscle injection can cause anaphylactic shock, occasionally also can cause moderate eye pigment phlogistic, corneal edema and temporary glaucoma.
